Description

In PASSAGE one is taken on a trip on a riverboat along a network of shipping lanes from the Netherlands through Belgium to the south of France.

The simultaneous projection of 3 images submerges the viewer in a world of ever changing movement and time. PASSAGE shows the poetry of what has been created by human hands and what tends to be lost through time and changing economic and social structures. The trip on a barge as a metaphor for the slipping of time and the lingering changing Europe.
